چکیده
Bi5−xLaxTiNbWO15 x=0–1.50 ceramics prepared by conventional solid-state reaction were studied using x-ray diffraction XRD , dielectric spectroscopy and Raman scattering techniques. The XRD analysis implied that single-phase intergrowth bismuth layered perovskite structure was obtained for all the samples and when x=0.75, the Bi3+ in Bi2O2 2+ layer begins to be substituted by La3+. The dielectric spectra showed that, when Bi3+ in Bi2O2 2+ is substituted, the Curie temperature becomes diffusive and the dielectric permittivity at room temperature is increased in a wide frequency range. Especially when x=1.50, the dielectric permittivity reaches its maximum of 270, nearly two times larger than that of the La3+ undoped sample. The Raman scattering experiments evidenced further that Bi3+ in Bi2O2 2+ is substituted when x 0.75 and revealed the orthorhombic distortion of the octahedra is responsible for the increase of the dielectric permittivity at x 1.25. © 2005 American Institute of Physics. متن کاملIntergrowth Bi2WO6–Bi3TiNbO9 ferroelectrics with high ionic conductivity
Two dielectric relaxation loss peaks associated with oxygen-ion diffusion in the intergrowth Bi2WO6–Bi3TiNbO9sBi5TiNbWO15d bismuth layered ferroelectrics were observed. The activation energy and the relaxation time at infinite temperature, for these two peaks, were determined to be s0.89 eV, 1.3310−13 sd and s0.84 eV, 3.6310−10 sd. The ac impedance spectroscopy indicated that the Bi5TiNbWO15 ce...

Abstract: The PZT-based ceramics with a composition of Pb1.1-xLax (Zr0.53Ti0.47)O3, were prepared by conventional mixed oxide followed by mechanical alloying and sol-gel methods in which x was chosen in the range of 0.02–0.06. The samples were calcined in the range of 450 °C - 750 °C for 4h. The physical and electrical properties of the samples were determined as a function of the calcinati...
متن کاملCompositionally graded ferroelectrics as wide band gap semiconductors: Electrical domain structures and the origin of low dielectric loss
Functional materials with compositional gradients exhibit unique characteristics that are different from the components comprising the structure. Graded ferroelectrics are very good examples to such materials where a systematic variation in composition is introduced along the thickness of a thin film heterostructure. Such structures display interesting properties including the disappearance of ...
متن کاملEffect of Grinding Time on Structural and Thermal Properties of Strontium-Doped Nanostructural Lanthanum
In this work, the strontium-doped lanthanum manganite- a ceramic material- used as cathode in solid oxide fuel cells. An impression of grinding time on the structural and thermal properties of Sr-doped LaMnO3 system with La1-xSrxMnO3 (x=0.2) stoichiometric ratio was investigated. The nano crystallite LSM powder with cubic structure was prepared by varying the milling time of planetary monomill ...
